You might want to sit down for this one: Speed profile is here!

We are enhancing our trip metadata with posted speed limit data, allowing partners to improve their offering with posted speed-related features such as speeding events, driver scoring, and integration with third-party applications.

Hold on - that’s not all.

We’re also adding a speed graph for every trip in the Surfsight Portal (WLP) in the Maps area, displaying the driving speed and, if available, the posted speed limit. This way managers can have more information when reviewing their driver's behavior on the road and provide coaching accordingly.

This is the first phase of the implementation of the speed profile. In the future, we will develop more speed-related features and include additional databases for improved accuracy.
